Jalapeno Pepper Jelly - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. red or green bell peppers, chopped very fine
8 to 9 fresh jalapenos, deveined, seeded and chopped fine
6 1/3 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. vinegar
1 bottle Certo
2/3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
red or green food coloring (if desired)
melted paraffin
Preparation

Combine bell peppers, jalapenos, sugar and vinegar in a saucepan.
Add food coloring.
Bring to a boil; remove from heat and add Certo.
Return to heat until boiling point is reached; remove.
Add lime juice.
Pour into sterilized jars, stirring often to distribute peppers.
Pour melted paraffin on top of jars to seal.
