Cornbread Or Cornpone - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sugar (scant)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    1 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    2 c. cornmeal
    3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Combine egg, sugar, salt and butter.
    Add milk; mix well.
    Add all dry ingredients.
    May be a little stiff.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 (usually takes 25 or 30 minutes).
