Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 sq. chocolate
    2 eggs, separated
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk in double boiler.
    Add mixed dry ingredients and chocolate cut in small pieces.
    Stir until mixture thickens.
    Stir a small amount of mixture into slightly beaten egg yolks and return mixture to double boiler.
    Stir until coagulates (2 or 3 minutes) and remove from fire.
    Add butter and vanilla; beat thoroughly with rotary beater or electric mixer.
    Cool.
    Place in a baked shell.
    Cover with meringue made with egg whites.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for about 20 minutes or until meringue is golden brown.
