Peach Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
    1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can sliced peaches
    maraschino cherry halves
Preparation
    Melt butter in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over melted butter or margarine.
    Drain peaches (reserve juice) and arrange with cherries over the sugar mixture.
    Mix cake as directed on box, using reserved peach juice for all or part of liquid.
    Pour mixed cake batter over sugar, butter and fruit; mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 until done (45 to 50 minutes).
    Let stand 5 minutes, turn upside down onto large platter.
    Good warm with whipped cream.
