Kentucky Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Put fruit in bottom of greased 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan. Combine ingredients.
    Dot fruit with butter and spread crust mixture over fruit.
    Pour 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup cold water over mixture.
    Bake in a 400\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
