Microwave Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick oleo
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    pinch of salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    4 qt. (16 c.) popped popcorn
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Place popped corn in a large grocery bag.
    Combine oleo, brown sugar, corn syrup and salt in a large glass pitcher.
    Bring to boil on Full Power.
    Boil 2 minutes.
    Stir in baking soda.
    Pour syrup over popcorn in bag.
    Close bag and shake vigorously.
    Place bag in microwave.
    Cook on High for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Remove and shake again.
    Return to oven for 1 1/2 minutes.
    Remove and shake again.
    Return to oven for 1 minute.
    Remove and pour on cookie sheet.
    Let cool.
