Strawberry Satin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt in saucepan.
    Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth.
    Cook
    until very thick and bubbling. Stir a little of hot mixture into
    egg.
    Add
    egg to hot mixture; cook, then chill thoroughly.
    (Mixture will be very thick.) Beat until smooth and velvety.
    Whip cream and
    fold
    into filling mixture.
    Add vanilla. Fill
    shell.
    Refrigerate until serving
    time.
    Add
    thickened
    strawberries on top.
