Grandma'S Mac And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 lb. cubed Velveeta
2/3 c. sour cream
1 1/3 c. cottage cheese
2 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
Preparation

Cook and drain macaroni.
Place in 2 1/2 qt. greased casserole dish.
Melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour; mix well.
Add milk and cook over medium heat, stir constantly until sauce thickens.
Add salt, sugar, and cheese, mix well.
Mix sour cream and cheese into sauce.
Pour over macaroni; mix well.
Sprinkle grated cheese and bread crumbs over top.
Dot with butter.
The dish may be frozen at this point.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
