Lemon Custard Pudding Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. flour
    6 Tbsp. margarine, melted
    2 c. sugar, divided
    4 eggs, separated
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    In a large bowl, combine flour, margarine and 1 1/2 cups sugar. Beat egg yolks and add to flour mixture along with milk; mix well (this will be a thin batter). Add lemon juice. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Slowly add 1/2 cup of sugar. Fold into batter. Pour into a greased 2-quart baking dish. Place baking dish in a shallow pan of hot water and bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve warm or chilled. Makes 8 to 10 servings. Prep Time: 50 minutes.
