Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cooked (save 3 Tbsp. grease)
    1 onion, chopped fine
    3 medium potatoes, diced medium cubes
    2 c. water
    1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
    2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onion in bacon grease or butter.
    (Do not brown.) Add potatoes and water.
    Cook until tender.
    Add remaining ingredients and warm.
    Serve with bacon crumbled on top and Sue Lacroix's corn bread.
