Round Steak Sauerbraten - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2 inch thick)
1 Tbsp. fat
1 envelope brown gravy mix
2 c. water
1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
hot buttered noodles or rice
Preparation

Cut meat in 1-inch squares.
In a large skillet, brown meat on all sides in hot fat.
Remove meat from skillet.
Add gravy mix and water.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Stir in remaining ingredients, except noodles or rice.
