Fried Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/3 c. onions, chopped fine
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 medium potatoes, diced
    1/3 c. peas or green beans
    1 can mushroom soup
Preparation
    Cook the first 5 ingredients together.
    Stir in mushroom soup. Fill dough in the same manner as with the fruit pies. Fry until brown on both sides.
