Chicken With Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 chicken
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. water (approximately)
2 qt. chicken broth
black pepper
Preparation

Combine flour and salt; add enough water to make stiff dough. Roll very thin and cut into squares.
Drop squares, a few at a time, into boiling chicken broth and sprinkle with black pepper to taste.
Add chicken, which has been removed from bone, and boil 10 or 15 minutes.
If you want richer dumplings, add 1/2 cup of milk after everything has been put in.
