Battered Fried Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 1/2 to 4 lb.) chicken, cut into serving pieces
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. buttermilk
1 egg, well beaten
Preparation

Mix milk and egg; stir into the sifted flour, salt and baking soda.
Beat the batter until smooth and dip in the chicken pieces.
