Jicama Pie(Pronounced Hic-A-Ma) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1/2 lb. Jicama, peeled and shredded
    1/2 c. sherry
    1/2 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. flour
    3 egg yolks
    2 c. milk
    1 cinnamon stick
    1 1/2 tsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine shredded Jicama, sherry and water in saucepan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat. Cover and boil gently 45 minutes or until most of liquid has evaporated.
    Drain and set aside.
