Chocolate Angel Strata Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    3 to 4 Tbsp. cold water
    2 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with vinegar, salt and cinnamon (if desired) until soft mounds form.
    Add sugar gradually beating until meringue stands in stiff glossy peaks.
    Spread on bottom and sides of baked pie shell.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 18 minutes.
    Cool.
