Caramel Popcorn Hearts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. Karo syrup
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    3 to 4 qt. popcorn, salted
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup, butter and cream of tartar for 5 minutes. Quickly stir in baking soda and vanilla (it will foam, but it's okay).
    Stir 10 minutes.
    Pour over popcorn; toss to cover and press into a greased jelly roll pan.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into hearts with a large cookie cutter. Return to 200\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Wrap individually in tight plastic.
