Yankee Pot Roast(Microwave) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 lb.) chuck roast
1 pkg. brown gravy mix
4 small onions, peeled, cut in half
hot water
4 carrots, pared, halved and cut in thirds
4 potatoes, pared and cut in quarters
Preparation

Put meat into a 4-quart microwave safe casserole dish. Sprinkle with gravy mix.
Add onion and enough hot water to cover meat.
Cover casserole dish with lid.
Cook in microwave 30 minutes at Medium.
Turn meat over.
Add carrots and potatoes to liquid.
Cook covered in microwave 1 hour at Medium or until meat is tender.
Remove from oven and let stand covered 10 to 15 minutes.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
