Twenty Four Hour Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    2 large onions, sliced
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. mustard
    1/2 c. salad oil
Preparation
    Cover cabbage and onions with sugar.
    Bring vinegar, celery seed, salt and mustard to a boil, then add salad oil.
    Bring to a boil again and pour over cabbage, cover and let set 24 hours.
