Alabama Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm milk
3 Tbsp. oil (Crisco)
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
plain flour
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in milk.
Add oil, salt, baking powder and sugar.
Add enough flour to make soft dough.
Knead a few times on floured surface.
Roll thin.
Cut with biscuit cutter and dip in melted margarine.
Stack in two's.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
Yields 18 to 20 biscuits.
