Outrageously Simple Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cubed
    1 medium onion, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. oil
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    3/4 c. red table wine
    3 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    salt, pepper and oregano to taste
    carrots
    potato
Preparation
    In a stew pot with top, simmer all ingredients except for vegetables for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add vegetables and cook another 40 minutes.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
