Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 large eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. grated orange rind
1 lb. candy orange slices, cut fine
1 small can flaked coconut
1 c. nuts, cut fine
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar,
add
eggs, one at a time; beat well. Use part of flour to coat candy, nuts and coconut.
Add dry ingredients alternately
with
milk.
Add
orange rind and coated candy, nuts and
coconut.
Mix well.
Bake in a 10-inch tube pan or 3 x 6-inch loaf pan in 275\u00b0 oven for approximately 2 hours or until done.
