Meringue That Won'T Weep - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar and water and cook until clear; set aside.
    Beat egg whites with the salt until it stands in peaks.
    Add syrup mixture.
    Beat until stiff and creamy, adding 6 tablespoons sugar as you beat.
    Pile on pie.
    Bake 30 minutes at 325\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Will stand up 3 days.
