30 Minute Fried Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon
    2 c. long grain rice
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts
    1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms, undrained
    2 c. cooked chicken or pork
    3 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp in heavy skillet with tight fitting lid. Remove bacon and all but 1/3 cup drippings.
    Add rice and brown; add onion, cook 1 minute more.
    Add other ingredients along with crumbled bacon.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Makes large amount and freezes well.
