Ingredients

1 lb. cooked beets
2 Tbsp. sugar or honey
1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. beet water
1/4 c. vinegar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add vinegar and beet water; boil for 5 minutes.
Add beets to hot sauce and let stand at least 30 minutes.
Just before serving, bring to boiling point and add butter.
