Red Eye Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 tsp. minced garlic
    3 bay leaves
    1 c. onions, finely chopped
    3 c. boiling hot black coffee (not decaffeinated)
    3 tsp. chicken base
    3 c. canned tomato sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper (preferably cayenne pepper)
    1 tsp. dried basil leaves
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    roux (thicken with roux for desired consistency)
    3 pt. pineapple juice
    3 pt. orange juice
    1 large red onion, thinly sliced
    4 oz. soy sauce
    2 oz. red wine vinegar
    4 oz. salad oil or olive oil
    4 limes, sliced
    2 Tbsp. minced garlic
    3/4 oz. jalapeno peppers, minced
    1/3 oz. chili powder
    10 drops Tabasco sauce
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients together in a very large bowl.
    Add the steaks and turn gently to coat both sides of the meat with the marinade liquid.
    Refrigerate and let marinate overnight.
    Ready to grill or broil.
    If cooking the steaks outside on a grill, baste your meats with this mixture while steaks are cooking.
