Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium potatoes, sliced thin
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. diced ham (optional)
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease 2-quart casserole dish. Place potatoes, onion and ham in casserole dish. In saucepan, mix milk, salt, butter, pepper and flour. Cook on medium heat until smooth and bubbly. Add cream of mushroom soup. May need to add a little more milk. Pour over the potatoes. Dot potatoes with 1 tablespoon butter. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until tender.
