Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 3/4 c. sifted plain flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. mashed bananas
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Cream together shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat well. Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add to cream mixture alternating with banana, blending well after each addition.
    Stir in nuts. Pour into greased loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Cool. Wrap and store overnight.
