Slow Cooked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. brown or white beans
    1 smoked ham hock
    water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash and drain dry beans.
    Place in crock-pot.
    Fill crock-pot 3/4 way with water.
    Place hock in beans.
    Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
    When beans are almost done, season with salt and pepper. Stir occasionally while cooking.
