Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. beef flank
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Slice meat lengthwise with the grain into 1/4-inch pieces. Combine remaining ingredients and mix with meat strips. Let stand 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and arrange in a single layer on a rack set in shallow baking pan. Bake in 150\u00b0 oven or at lowest oven temperature for at least 12 hours. Store in airtight container. Better than store bought.
