Laura'S Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
    1 devils food cake mix with pudding
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Put all ingredients in a large bowl and stir well.
    Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan and spread to cover the bottom evenly.
    Bake 22 to 25 minutes.
    This is a semi-fluffy, yet chewy brownie about 1 inch thick.
    For a thicker, chewier brownie add less water, using just enough to mix well.
    Do not overcook or it will be hard and dry.
