1890 Chicken And Macaroni Supper - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. macaroni
    boiling salt water
    4 c. cooked chicken, cut into bite size pieces
    1/4 c. butter
    salt and pepper
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 c. half and half
Preparation
    Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until almost tender, about 12 minutes; drain.
    Place 1/3 of macaroni on bottom of 2-quart lightly greased casserole.
    Top with 1/2 the chicken pieces; dot chicken with 1/2 the butter, salt, pepper and 1/2 the chicken broth.
    Repeat layers ending with remaining 1/3 of macaroni on top.
    Pour cream over all.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until bubbly.
