Ingredients

1/2 c. butter, softened
4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 c. finely chopped pecans
confectioners sugar
Preparation

In bowl, cream butter and cream cheese.
Beat in extract. Combine flour, sugar and salt.
Gradually add flour mixture and creamed mixture together.
Stir in pecans.
Shape into 2-inches logs.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 14 minutes.
Roll warm cookies into confectioners sugar.
Yield: 2 dozen cookies.
