Lemon Curd Tart Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    1/4 c. grated lemon rind
    1 c. softened butter
Preparation
    This sauce can be used for French toast, thumbprint cookies, etc.
