Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch broccoli, cleaned and cut in small pieces
    1 onion, diced fine
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1/2 lb. bacon, fried, drained and crumbled
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 c. spiced croutons (optional)
Preparation
    Combine broccoli, onion, cheese and bacon in a large serving bowl.
    In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar together.
    Pour over vegetables.
    Toss gently, but thoroughly, to blend.
    Refrigerate several hours or overnight before serving.
