Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. raisins
    1 tsp. allspice
    3 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 c. jam (berry)
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs; cream.
    Sift all dry ingredients together; add to mixture.
    Add buttermilk and soda; combine, then add jam (your choice, blackberry, strawberry).
    Add nuts and raisins.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Pour in
    3 (9-inch) pans; bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
