No Peek Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice, uncooked
    1 chicken, cut into serving pieces
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can water
    1 c. sherry (optional)
    1 pkg. onion soup mix
Preparation
    Butter a 11 x 16-inch baking dish and sprinkle the rice on the bottom.
    Lay the
    chicken
    pieces, skin side up, on the rice.
    Mix soup, water
    and
    sherry;
    pour
    over
    the chicken. Sprinkle the onion soup
    mix
    over
    all.
    Cover
    tightly
    with aluminum foil, making sure edges
    are
    sealed.
    Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 375\u00b0.
    Do not peek or rice will burn.
