Peach Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 Tbsp. butter (1 1/4 sticks)
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    15 to 20 slices canned or fresh peaches
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream butter and sugar, add the eggs, one at a time, and continue to cream mixture.
    Add almond extract. Mix in flour and baking powder.
    Turn mixture into greased and floured 9-inch spring-form pan or equivalent.
    Arrange peach slices on dough.
    Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold.
