Durgin Park Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. flour
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    In large bowl, beat the sugar and eggs until light.
    Stir together salt, flour, cornmeal and baking powder.
    Add to bowl along with butter and milk.
    Beat together quickly.
    Pour into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
