Guitar Cake(Serves 16) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can apricot halves
    1 (1 lb.) can pitted dark sweet cherries, drained
    1 (1 lb.) can peach halves, drained
    1 (1 lb.) can pear halves, drained
    1 (14 oz.) can guava shells, drained
    1/2 c. curacao
    1 pineapple ring
    2 pkg. yellow cake mix
    4 or 5 small bananas
    lemon juice
    1 c. apricot preserves
    1 (4 oz.) can (1 1/2 c.) shredded coconut
Preparation
    Drain apricot halves and reserve 1/4 cup syrup.
    Combine apricots, cherries, peaches, pears, guava shells and pineapple ring in 2-quart Wonderlier.
    Combine reserved apricot syrup and curacao and pour over fruit.
    Marinate overnight.
