Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) bag Great Northern beans
    1 lb. ground chuck or ground turkey
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1/2 c. tomato, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 large bag grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight or at least 2 hours.
    Rinse and cook until fork-tender.
    Drain.
    Saute or brown ground beef, onions, peppers and garlic; salt and pepper.
    Drain off any excess oil.
    Add tomatoes and tomato sauce.
    In a casserole dish, layer beans, meat mixture and cheese.
    Continue to layer until casserole dish is full.
    Spread topping of cheese on top and bake in 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
    Let cool and serve warm or cold.
