Wadie Sizers Sweet Pickle Casserole - cooking recipe

1/2 c. brown sugar, divided
2/3 c. orange juice, divided
2 lb. can sweet potatoes, drained
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/3 c. melted margarine
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Combine 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons orange juice and 2 teaspoons butter.
Mix and set aside for use in glaze.
Whip the potatoes until smooth. Beat in eggs. Add salt, cloves and cinnamon.
Mix well. Add remaining sugar, orange juice and butter. Pour into a 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
Sprinkle pecans on top. Pour glaze over pecans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes. Serves 10.
