Pommes De Terre Lyonnaise(Sauteed Potatoes With Onions) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium size potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. Crisco oil
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cook potatoes (unpeeled) in boiling water for 20 minutes. Drain, cool, peel and slice 1/4 inch thick.
    Heat butter and oil in skillet until bubbling subsides.
    Add potato slices and onion slices and cook until golden brown, turning gently 2 or 3 times, about 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
