Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sifted flour (plain)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. butter or substitute
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 3 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and measure. Add baking powder and salt. Add sugar. Blend in shortening and eggs, well beaten. Add melted chocolate, nuts and vanilla. Spread on baking sheet and bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
