Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg
2 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) bag candy kisses

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl; mix at lowest speed until dough forms balls.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Roll balls in sugar.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
Top each cookie immediately with a candy kiss.
Press down firmly so cookie cracks around edges.
Let cool.
