Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices of bacon
    1 med./lg. yellow onion
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 head of coarsely chopped cabbage
    3 Tbsp. of olive oil over cabbage
    chopped (granny Smith) apple
Preparation
    Chop up into small pieces about 5 slices of bacon and one yellow onion.
    Season with salt and pepper and fry over medium heat until bacon starts to just crisp and onion get soft.
    Add 1/2 head of coarsely chopped cabbage.
    Drizzle about 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the cabbage.
    Season again with salt and pepper to taste. Continue stir frying over medium heat until cabbage is soft.
    About 15 minutes.
    You can also add some chopped apples to this to give it a sweet taste.
