Buttermilk Loaf Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. butter or margarine (at room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
    1 1/2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. grated lemon rind
    4 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in vanilla, lemon juice and rind.
    Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture. Turn batter into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
    Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove and continue cooling on racks.
