Grandma'S Pear Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can pears, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 small box lime jello
    1 - 8 oz. cream cheese
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 - 8 oz. cool whip
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in 1 c. hot pear juice. Beat in cream cheese with mixture while juice is hot. Let jell 10 minutes. Stir in mashed pears and cool whip. Top with crushed pecans. Refrigerate.
