Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

14 c. shredded cabbage
1 medium onion, shredded
1 medium green pepper, shredded
3 medium carrots, shredded
1 Tbsp. salt
3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
3/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. salad oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation

Combine vinegar, oil, sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Pour hot mixture over cabbage, onion, peppers and carrots.
Let stand for 1 1/2 hours.
Refrigerate.
Will keep for several days. Serves 25.
