Ingredients

1 egg
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. margarine or butter, melted
1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Beat egg.
Add milk, vanilla and sugar; beat.
Add butter or margarine.
Add everything except flour.
Beat again.
Slowly add flour, beating continuously and scraping side of bowl.
If batter is too thick, add milk.
If too thin, add more flour.
Serves 2 hungry people.
